thrift finds

I thought I'd post my favorite thrift finds from last month and show you the various ways I photographed the photo. The top pic was taken outside this morning... the middle pic was taken inside this morning, no flash... and the bottom pic was taken inside last night, no flash. I have such a fascination with photography. I know very little about it but hope to hone that skill in '07. Thanks Amy & Andrew for the photography book for my birthday!

You are good :) Really!

BTW, I should send you a pic of my tiny lemon tree (in my bedroom for the winter) with one tiny lemon on it :)

Interesting how the blue of the little pitcher (creamer?) looks very different in the 3 different lights! I think the top picture is my favorite. I love that little pitcher? Is it marked? Would love to know who made it. Love the tall patterned piece as well.

Thanks Heidi, I love the little blue/ aqua creamer too... but no markings on the back.
Paid one dollar for each of the items... and the beads were a dollar a bag. I took them off my chandelier and dumped them in the cream bowl... and thought, photo op!

Cool! They look like totally different pieces in each picture. You're becoming a true artist lady!

Amazing how a collection of objects can look so different dependant on lighting.
The beads are very pretty - great finds!
