transportable tablescape

We have dear friends Rand & Michelle, that provide that slice of heaven when we're needing to get out of the city. The ambiance is out of this world... when really it's only an hour away in Waddell, Arizona. So when the Hand in Hand reunion team (six couples) decided to have a dinner party to share our stories about the reunion and celebrate our 30+ years in ministry together... well, it was a no-brainer!

And Rand & Michelle happen to be the most amazing cooks on the planet! So Nancy & I decided to take care of the outdoor tablescape. I brought my traveling Mason jar caddy filled with candles & Daffodils. Always good to go and so easy to transport.

Nancy brought all her Spring table linens to grace the tables. I have 3 - 6 ft. banquet tables that are so easy to throw in the van for a dinner party. I'm serious, every home should have at least two of these tables! You will use them like crazy! In fact, they are only $33.00 this week at Target. So go get one ~ now!

We literally felt like we were dining in Napa Valley... only better, cuz we were experiencing it with good friends.

So what do you do when the cooks are putting the finishing touches on the meal? You hula hoop! Can I just say I LOVE hula hooping! Like I really love hula hooping! A lot! Thanks to Kayelen (pictured) who makes these amazing, well-built hula hoops!

Nothing better than sharing a good meal with good friends, sipping good wine...
under a full moon and a starry night...

eating lamb for the first time, and I gotta say, unbelievably good...

yummy salmon cakes that were to-die-for...

and pork tenderloin in all it's stuffed glory! YES!

I'm telling you, when you set the table (pardon the pun), you create moments where
love flows freely...
hearts are full... and blessing abound.

Looks like y'all had a great time. What a good idea to have those tables at hand. Thanks for tip about Target having them on sale. Love a bargain!

I also love the canning jar carrier. That is so practical for transporting the "vases" and also can be used filled. Very nice!

This is the dinner I would want to be at! Sounds like a lot of fun! I love eating outside! Also, I grew up eating lamb because we raised them organically on the ranch. Glad you had such a nice time!
