Disney Celebrates!

What a way to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Seriously, we have never gotten so much attention! Our daughter told us the day before we left to be sure to pick up our anniversary buttons at City Hall. So we did and wore them all three days and let me tell you, EVERYONE wishes you Happy Anniversary! And not just the "cast members" but guests! While on Soaring over California (for the 3rd time), this cute teenage boy sitting next to me even wished me a Happy Anniversary! How sweet is that!

31 years ago we honeymooned in Disneyland...
Did you know there are photographers in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle that take pictures that you can order online, but they also willingly take your picture using your own camera. Works for me!

... and we've been living happily ever after.
Oh and I messed up in my prior post. I thought I saw Captain EO on our honeymoon. Well, it actually opened in 1986 when we took Shawn (5) and Miranda (2) for the first time. Anyway, that attraction, now entitled Captain EO Tribute re-opened on February 23, 2010
Well, let me tell you, it was one of the highlights of our Disneyland experience! Truly amazing!
***Captain EO now features a new 70mm print and improved sound, thanks to acoustical enhancements made to the theater in recent years.
The auditorium literally shakes and vibrates! What a thrilling experience!
More Disney highlights to come.

You two look like kids again, and your top is darling Linda!

I can't remember how I found your blog, but I loved your cute posts about thrifting and the princess party you had at your church! ( I am planning one based on the inspiration from your blog!) My hubbie and I also honeymooned in Disneyland 5 years ago this coming Friday! Perfect place to get away! Happy anniversary!
