Let me tell you, hiking at 7000 feet is grueling. So we made good use of that cute little "catch your breath" bench above! But the hike to Cascade Falls was worth all the huffing and puffing! Man, do we need to get in shape!
We ended the day by relaxing over the best Margaritas we have ever had! Or would anything have tasted wonderful after a day of hiking at 7000 feet!

Beautiful picture. Gee I need to take a weekend and do that part of the state. I haven't been that way in many years and I live here. I usually go west and north when I venture. Glad you are having a good time.

Awesome stuff! I love the waterfalls. How long did it take you to get to Ouray from Phx? Do you think it's too far for a long weekend? I would imagine that it's gorgeous in the fall too. I'm so glad you're getting to be there to get a break from the heat.
