Ouray, CO
We had a wonderful time in Ouray, CO! The weather was cool and yes, it even rained! We walked and hiked and ate and drank coffee outside. Something almost unheard of in Phoenix this time of year. We were in heaven!
Ouray was founded in 1876 and looks like a little Swiss village in the Alps. So charming and full of European style architecture.
We hiked to Box Canyon Falls and not only looked down into the Canyon from this bridge but hiked down IN the Canyon to within just a few feet of the pounding Falls. Because you are so down deep into the Canyon, the noise of the Falls was overwhelmingly LOUD!! I loved it!!
It was such a thrill to view the Canyon Falls from both vantage points! Click on the pics to see how far down the Canyon was from the bridge.

Hey girl, I don't know where I've been, but haven't been checking the last couple of days. I just took a quick look at your posts but look forward to looking more after work. Sounds like you're having a great time so far!
Miss you!
