We're off to Colorado tomorrow morning and I can hardly wait to hit the road!

Yup, our first "empty nest"... um, "empty van" trip! But we are sooo excited cuz there is noone in all the world I would rather be with, than my husband!
These pics were taken a year ago as we headed to Horn Creek Family Camp near Westcliffe, CO. We are again hoping for rain. We love traveling in the rain!

Hey, we're going to Southern Colorado this weekend too! We'll be in Alamosa, where my parents grew up and my grandparents still live. To get to Alamosa you hang a sharp left at Walsenberg. :) I've never been to Westcliffe, and had to look up on the map where it is located as compared to where I'll be. Have a wonderful weekend with your sweetheart!

You just may get your wish. It is a cool 80 today with showers expected later. Think this weekend is supposed to be sunny and 90. Wonderful weather for your vacation...enjoy our wonderful state while you are here.
