GUESS WHAT?!

Our son Shawn and his wife Nicole are going to have a baby!! Which means we're going to be grandparents!! Which means we are SOOO happy!! You guys, a baby... a little, bitty baby is growing inside Nicole! Makes me cry everytime I think about it! It's a miracle... every single time a baby is born is a miracle. And our little miracle arrives in April!

This is how they told us... they gave Randy his birthday present... and it's a T-shirt. Well, Randy saw what that T-shirt said before I did. And as you can see, he had this stunned look on his face.

Then I saw what he saw... and I burst into tears! And I cried and cried! I was SOOO happy! and SOOO surprised! I'm going to be a Grandma!

Hugging my sweet daughter-in-law... the mommy-to-be!

The proud Grandparents! I was beaming like this for days!

Linda, that is SO exciting!! :) What a blessing, and what a wonderful, fun grandma you're going to be. I know that my mom loves my DD like she was her own, and I suspect you'll feel the same. :)

Hooray! :)

How awesome! And how amazing that you kept it quiet until you had the O.k. to tell! I LOVE the pics too. They captured the expressions so well. Congratulations to all of you! Can't wait. We need to be added to the babysitter list.

Similar story - We were on vacation with my parents. It was the Father's Day. The card I gave my Dad was actually a "Happy Father's Day Grandpa" card. He read it, and had a similar look on his face. He then called me Mom in to the room and said "you gotta read this!"

Your Granbaby is super lucky to have a wonderful Grandma like you!
